In a press release from June 06th, 2025, PERILS, an independent organisation that provides data on exposure to disasters and losses from events, published its fourth and final estimate of losses caused by the floods from 31 May to 6 June in southern Germany. The final estimated loss is 1,564 million euros, mainly in the federal states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The loss is composed of personal lines property losses of 63% and commercial lines property losses of 37%.
